PHRC Celebrates Chinese New Year!

Celebrating multi-cultural events at Para Hills Residential Care (PHRC) is fun, and an important part of the culture at our facility.

This year was Chinese New Year for the Horse. To celebrate, a group of PHRC residents and staff went to Globe Derby Park for the day, where they enjoyed a beautiful luncheon and had a chance to watch the horse racing. It was very enjoyable for all that attended. Taxis were ordered for those in Chairs, while the rest of us got picked up in a mini bus.

23 people attended this outing and had four choices for lunch, dessert and drinks. Everyone enjoyed the day and are all looking forward to next year when we celebrate the year of the Sheep.
