About Us

Para Hills Residential Care is a family owned 60 bed Residential Aged Care Facility established in Para Hills, Adelaide August 1983.

Our Director of Nursing and her extensive team made up of a Registered Nurse on duty at all times plus our dedicated Enrolled Nurses, a Continence Nurse, Personal Carers, Diversional Therapists, Physiotherapist Assistants and a number of visiting Allied Health Professionals including Physiotherapists, Dieticians, Podiatrists, Speech Pathologists, Dental and Hearing Services are committed to meeting the present and future requirements of our community.

  • A comprehensive Physiotherapy Program catering for both remedial and rehabilitation needs providing treatment 4 days a week as well as developing exercise programs and rehabilitation plans with our dedicated physiotherapy assistants;

  • In the early 1980’s Dr Bruno Rositano was invited and then successfully applied to the Australian Government to establish a new high care nursing home for the under serviced northern suburbs.
  • With the local Para Hills pharmacist Mr Colin Prisk, Uncle Sam (a resident here in his later years) older civil engineer brother Tony and younger sister Rosanne a large land parcel at 50 Kesters Road, Para Hills West was purchased.
  • The original 35 bed high care nursing home was home to its first resident Mrs Freda L Height from South Brighton, South Australia on the 1st of August 1983.
  • Today, with 25 beds added in 2006 and 2015 on additional land purchased in the 1990′s, we are still a proud South Australian family owned aged care facility.
  • The current owners comprise a partnership of two sisters, lawyer Rosanne Rositano and dentist Dr Silvana Rositano and two brother’s civil engineer Tony Rositano and architect Lello Rositano.
  • In 2023, our 40th year, Para Hills Residential Care enjoys an established and trusted reputation having looked after over 870 frail and elderly South Australians along with their families and friends.
  • In 2025, we are planning to add another 15 beds to satisfy our long term development plan to service the needs of our local area well into the future.
