Our History
- In the early 1980’s Dr Bruno Rositano was invited and then successfully applied to the Australian Government to establish a new high care nursing home for the under serviced northern suburbs.
- With the local Para Hills pharmacist Mr Colin Prisk, Uncle Sam (a resident here in his later years) older civil engineer brother Tony and younger sister Rosanne a large land parcel at 50 Kesters Road, Para Hills West was purchased.
- The original 35 bed high care nursing home was home to its first resident Mrs Freda L Height from South Brighton, South Australia on the 1st of August 1983.
- Today, with 25 beds added in 2006 and 2015 on additional land purchased in the 1990′s, we are still a proud South Australian family owned aged care facility.
- The current owners comprise a partnership of two sisters, lawyer Rosanne Rositano and dentist Dr Silvana Rositano and two brother’s civil engineer Tony Rositano and architect Lello Rositano.
- In 2023, our 40th year, Para Hills Residential Care enjoys an established and trusted reputation having looked after over 870 frail and elderly South Australians along with their families and friends.
- In 2025, we are planning to add another 15 beds to satisfy our long term development plan to service the needs of our local area well into the future.
